This summer Sussex Guild members are delighted to be exhibiting for the first time at Borde Hill Garden during a 2 weekend event. Sussex Guild members will be showing their inspiring work in marquee pods on the Azalea Ring during Borde Hill’s Rose Celebration Weeks and Form in Nature sculpture exhibition.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the highly skilled designer makers who have been hard at work during the lockdowns, developing unique creations whilst drawing on new inspirations. Visitors have the opportunity to meet the designer makers and be treated to spectacular examples of ceramics, furniture, glass, jewellery, metalwork, print making, textile art, woodwork and more; most of the work can be purchased, or specially commissioned. Visitors may wish to visit both weekends as there will be a different selection of exhibitors at each weekend event.
You can spend a delightful day exploring the 17 acre formal Garden, enjoying refreshments on the lawn and meeting the talented designer-makers of the Sussex Guild who will be pleased to discuss their creative work with you. With fine crafts in a beautiful garden setting there is plenty to see, and we promise that you will not be disappointed!
To help keep everyone safe and to manage numbers throughout the day Borde Hill operate an online booking system. The booking system allows you to reserve a timeslot by choosing a 30-minute arrival time for the day you wish to visit. Entry must be pre-booked in advance on the Borde Hill website as Visitors may not be admitted to the Garden without a pre-booked ticket. Once inside the Garden you can stay as long as you like.
