My individually made Pen Pots are made from Vegetable Tanned Hide and are lined with goat or sheepskin. 
 
I am interested in working with the unique properties of vegetable tanned leather. The shape developed from a special bag that I made for the Walsall Leather Museums 30th Celebrations.
 
I have made four each with a unique spot texture, a dye method I have developed over many years. No two pieces are the same.
Pen Pots are available in the following colours and sizes - 
-Black and pale yellow spot with soft teal coloured leather interior. 114mm width x 106mm height approx.
-Chocolate brown and buff spot with soft burgundy coloured leather interior. 102mm width x 98mm height approx.
-Purple and buff spot with soft teal coloured leather interior. 111mm width x 98mm height approx.
-Post Office red, yellow and black spot with blueberry coloured leather interior. 113mm width x 114mm height approx.
 
When each of the Pots are sold I will make others with different colourways, so no two are the same.
The base is marked 'Leather by Lowday'.
 
Brush and pencil not included.
